A granite plaque pays tribute to Lawrence "Jungle Larry" Tetzlaff who along with his wife Nancy "Safari Jane" Tetzlaff introduced the exotic animals to the botanical garden in 1969. Nancy is still active in business and sons David & Tim continue the family tradition.
